Steve Aylett was born in London in 1967. He is the author of The Crime Studio, Bigot Hall, Slaughtermatic, Toxicology, Atom, Only an Alligator, The Velocity Gospel, Dummyland, Karloff's Circus, The Tao te Jinx, Shamanspace, The Inflatable Volunteer, And Your Point Is? and LINT. His work has been translated into Spanish, German, French, Greek, Finnish, Czech, Russian and Japanese. He is a bitter man.
